Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Wise Old Paws participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means that some links on this website — typically labeled as "Check Price" or "Buy" buttons — are affiliate links.
What this means for you
- If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer or brand.
- This costs you nothing extra. The price you pay is the same whether or not you use our links.
- These commissions help pay for the research and time that go into our guides, keeping the site free to read.
Programs we participate in
We may earn commissions through programs including, but not limited to: Ollie, Honest Paws, HolistaPet, and Chewy. The specific programs featured on a page are noted in that page's disclosure box.
Our editorial independence
Commissions do not determine our recommendations. We build our guides from manufacturer information, veterinary guidance summaries, and owner feedback, and we include honest pros and cons for every product — including reasons to skip it. A product's affiliate availability never earns it a spot on a list it didn't earn on its merits.
FTC compliance
In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, we clearly disclose our affiliate relationships at the top of every page that contains affiliate links, and in detail on this page.
If you have questions about how we use affiliate links, please reach out via our contact page.
